eat no fish表示：「忠實可靠的人」

它的來源是這樣的：

英國女王伊麗莎白一世期間，規定了英國國教的教義與儀式。對此，一部分教徒表示支持，另一部分則堅決反對。那些支持決定的教徒為了表示對女王的忠誠，不再遵守羅馬天主教規定的每星期五都要吃魚的規定 。
