Sleep late ≠ 熬夜

Sleep是指一個睡著的狀態，late是超出預期時間的意思。那麼連在一起，sleep late的意思就是起床起晚了，絕對不是熬夜的意思哦~

那麼正確的關于熬夜的用法是什麼呢？

stay up late/stay up

這兩個詞都可以使用為熬夜的意思。不過， stay up late表達的是相對比較節制的熬夜； stay up 指的則是毫無節制的熬夜，就是整晚不睡。

例句：

我過去曾經常常和我媽媽熬夜看電影。
